Current Vacancies: Business Development Manager

Location: Tewkesbury

 

We are looking for an efficient Business Development Manager to join our team working in the West Midlands region. Reporting to and working alongside the Business Development and Strategy Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide guidance on prospecting for potential new clients.
  • Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Make regular contact with clients to maintain rapport and loyalty.
  • Establish and attend meetings.
  • Identify opportunities, produce leads for the business development team and book appointments with the emphasis on quality leads that fit our business model.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations through guidance.
  • Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors.
  • Proactively follow up leads.
  • Use initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the CRM database.
  • Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practice Ideas.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
  • Collect and share industrial and market intelligence to support business development activities.
  • Building on the current client base to accelerate new lead and client generation.
